AEC3PO
The Architecture, Engineering and Construction Compliance Checking and Permitting Ontology, or AEC3PO, is a semantic knowledge model developed to streamline compliance processes in the construction industry. It represents regulations and building codes in a machine-readable format. AEC3PO provides a unified framework that enhances automation and consistency across different projects and regulatory environments. AEC 3PO integrates various compliance aspects from document modelling to verification reporting. The figure provides a visual representation of the role of AEC3PO and its relationships with the knowledge application components of the ACCORD architecture. AEC3PO serves as a semantic foundation for the rule formalisation language
